The Fragile Vessels - Marital Rights & Obligations

RM 42.00

Marriage holds a position of perpetual significance because of the central role it plays in human life. It is not surprising, therefore, that the scholars of Islaam have discussed it extensively through the ages. Under the contemporary influence of non-Islaamic cultures, however, misconceptions have crept into various areas of Islaam - spilling into marriage, divorce, and other family-related matters.

Viewing the needs of the Muslims who live in non-Islaamic environments, and realizing that most Islaamic writings on marriage are restricted in scope, we find quite a large gap that needs to be filled for the benefit of the English-speaking Muslims - which is what we attempt to accomplish over the span of this 4-book set that covers various aspects of marriage according to the authentic sunnah.

This book discusses the rights and obligations of the two spouses. It includes brief biographies of the Mothers of the Believers, realistic pictures from the life of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wassalaam) with his wives, and a complete discussion of the haadith of Umm Zar'.

This is the third book of four books in The Muslim Family Series by Dr. Muhammad Mustafa al-Jibaly. The other books are as follow:-

1. Closer than a Garment - Marital Intimacy According to the Pure Sunnah
2. The Fragile Vessels - Rights and Obligations between the Spouses in Islaam
3. Our Precious Sprouts - Regulations for Newborns
